Guys,

I've just fed Noodle and he seems to have a bit of Orchid bark stuck in his mouth. What should I do? The fuzzie has gone down but the bark seems to be in the corner of his mouth...

Thanks guys, I'll keep an eye on him and see how it goes. He's in his hot hide looking ok at the moment so hopefully all is well!

Duke swallowed bark all the time (if you buy the finer stuff it should pose very little risk, big chunks are obviously more risky), never affected him, I saw him actually scoop up a few pieces and swallow them. Them wiping their mouth after eating wont cause regurgitation, most will rub their mouths on things after to clean up and realign.

in small amount's bark, aspen ect will be digested an passed no problem.

my old royal split his rat once an when i checked him he had a huge gob full of aspen, took him out an managed to remove some of it but the rest he swallowed the crapped fine a few week's later

Bit late now but have you tried feeding him in a separate tub, I always feed mine out the viv, but I know lots dont.I used to put kitchen towel on the bottom untill he tangled it up with his food.he just feeds now in empty rub.

Not had to deal with a regurge yet (touching wood madly). Would there be a chance of him swallowing it? I didn't see him spit it out as I was posting here!!

lucky he didnt regurgitate his dinner as well.

Right, I think he's dislodged it himself. He was kind of rearing up and moving his head for side to side to try and get rid of it himself and he seems to have managed it. Typically he had decided to move right to the back of the viv and do all of this there which he never usually does!
