Just thought I would blog to say how extremely pleased I am with these! the male 18 months old. currently no name! xD is the most curious and friendly little guy I've ever seen! every time I am near the tank he will be yawning, drinking.. exploring! I've seen him drinking 2 times just today! come up to the glass to say hello! and shown no signs of negative behavior! its like he plays up and does things when I'm watching! The female 'Esuna' on the other hand is shy and she stayed wrapped around the back of the old light fitting until i had to pry her down to change the fitting and secure a guard. even then she was fine with me! had a cheeky little handle and put her in a rub while i sorted out her viv! i think shes less frightened now as she didn't ball when i took her from her viv or put her back from the rub.. The ex owner said the male was strikey but i also saw he was using a snake hook with them :O... (*****) lol! Also i noticed the male got a tiny piece of aspen trapped in his mouth :/ which concerned me, he was trying to wiggle it out and i gently removed it and he yawned several times after so i could see it was one! obviously not intentionally but good boy xD... They are absolutely awesome! and i look forward to watching them grow and giving them a brilliant home!

I am still concerned about there wounds tho, even tho there healed and nothings open etc, will they ever go back to normal scales?

and also the aspen thing has concerned me a little... if is there a safer substrate? like wood chips? etc..

thanks for reading my mass blog!

The wounds should get better with every shed but they will probably never be perfect
