Noodle shed today and in general it was ok. The only problem is that his sloughed skin split on his head and has stayed on. He kinda has half a head of shed left on along with an eye cap. Everything else came off in one piece.

So, what is it best to do? He's still quite head shy and I don't have any experience in removing eye caps. My local reptile shop keeper said he would show me but I won't be able to get over there until Sunday, is it ok to leave it that long? In the mean time is there anything i can do?

Thanks!

a damp moss box, damp pillow case, warm bath with a towel/cloth in the water may help to remove the stuck shed.

if that doesn't work after giving him a bath i would hold him behind the head and using a damp cotton but gently work the shed loose, as you say you have no experience with eye cap's if you gently work some of the shed loose at the front of his head he may get the rest by rubbing once back in the viv

Would a good rummage around in a moss box do the same thing do the reckon?

U could put him in a tub full with damp kitchen roll for a while so when he rubs against it trying to get out it will help rub the old skin off. Only took about five ten minutes to work for me a while back
