I was looking to do a small test to see if Sanke would show any reaction at all to the colour red. I've said on occasion about snakes seeing red so I wanted to get her to turn her head or move her eyes to something red.
I got a little red key topper and moved it near Sanke. She definitely saw it!

It was only my curiosity, a first test that I shall look to refine and get an idea of what they can and can't see, I started with Sanke as she is very visually obvious she will move her eyes and head to focus on things. I wasn't expecting her reaction though. |

Yeah, if you look really closely I think you can see her react slightly to the red key fob. |

Aww she's a big softie really. I never meant for her to strike and hit the glass, I felt bad about that bit. Will have to work on a better way to test eyesight |
