Henry our first Hognose vanished in October last year. I was just checking behind the washing machine just now and found him lurking. He's been missing for over five months and doesn't look any worse for wear so god only knows what he's been eating.
Well happy.

Erm Richard, we did more than use his home for someone else lol we missed the hoggie in the house so much we bought another..so now we have two..and its amazing how different they are tho neither has the famous hoggie attitude..least not with me lol

Thanks guys. The whole house is constantly at 24 degrees. I'm sure Janie is part reptile. What Henry found to eat to gain weight is baffling.

Poor old Fae unfortunately got herself stuck tight behind an old fireplace and couldn't get to water.

Blimey that's impressive your house must be nice and warm hope you did not use his viv for someone else :)

That's great news! I agree with jimmer, he was probably hibernating, but 7gram increase in weight? how odd lol

Absolutely great news, what a great Easter present!

You're only going to have one problem now and that's going to be getting him back onto raw food again after his culinary experimentation in your kitchen haha.

Fantastic!

Your house is clearly habitable, makes me wonder why the boa was so unfortunate :(

Super news anyway very happy for you

Aww that's a good news story. You'll have to call him Henry Suds now as he was living by the washing machine.

Had given up on ever finding him alive. Couldn't believe my eyes for ages. When I grabbed him he was cold and stiff, so I thought he was dead, until I heard the loud hissing. Noisy little bugger.
