Posted - 08/04/2013 : 22:26:30 Hi winston have not eaten for couple of months, every 10days offered a rat or mouse, nothing, in rep shop today they had large gerbils for sale (frozen) thought give it ago just offer it to him, took it straight away,.? Whats all that about, But at least he have eaten. |

Posted - 09/04/2013 : 01:37:26 If i remember right, Gerbils are closer to their natural prey and for some reason most snakes can't resist them, but they are expensive and small so rats are a better long term option for our pockets but there is nothing stopping you feeding them Gerbils long term (or mixing the diet with all the available prey types).
It may just be a snack during a fast too, they do eat on occasion during fasting so don't be too disappointed if he turns his nose at the next one but its always good when they eat so cong-gerbil-ulations. |
