Yeah I no I've noticed that on a couple of rare occasions. He seems to hear me open the glass so don't jump him to much. |

I think that's exactly it, they don't sleep in the way us mammals do they simply shut down parts and faculties they aren't using. But when they are in this alnost trance like state they do appear to jump if you disturb them. |
