Hi All - I weighed Honey yesterday and she's 111g - she was 58g on 3rd May - is that a reasonable growth rate? Having been advised by the whole world to move her on from mice to rats as early as possible, I offered her a 15g rat fluff on Saturday and she struck and swallowed with no hesitation - she's now roaming the tub, presumably looking for the next one! After all the nightmare stories I've heard and read about Royals being picky eaters, I seem to be blessed with a glutton!! (Don't worry, I don't expect it to last forever!) Bye for now

Weigh-in was after poo - as to age, I don't really know: I bought her at 58g on 3rd May and the guy at Warrington Pets and Exotics wasn't able to give me much info (she was sourced by a colleague, who was out of the shop) - I'm guessing from her weight then that she would have been about a month old - is that reasonable?

Yeah, mine never missed a meal for 2 years, then took a 5 month fast. It now refuses to eat rats (after eating them for over a year) and even mice which it had previously been on. Loves gerbils and multi's though

Is the weigh in before or after a poo?
