How long before the eyes turn blue has the shedding process started? Or are the eyes turning blue the first stage? Just wondered as Sunday night my royal and boa both refused a feed but I noticed today both of them have blue eyes which would explain the refusal!

Yea that's what I read. I was just curious so I knew the boas refusal was due to an up coming shed

They shed when there growing so if there fed well n grow quickly they'll shed more. As they get older they'll shed less as will beconing full size I assume anyway.

How many times a year do they shed? (on average)

Thanks. Is each stage a few days apart? I've only ever noticed the eyes!

First the belly goes pinkish, then the eyes go blue, then 2-3 days they shed
