Small review on a new viv i got afew weeks back.Been meaning to do this due to having afew problems with it.

It's a monkfield 30 inch x 18 inch x18 inch viv,Comes well packed with easy to follow instructions and very easy to put together.

Now to the problems One of the screws didn't line up to the pre drilled hole.No centre screw to pull up the centre piece of wood,Ie where the glass fits in.Back don't fit flush with sides of viv,Huge overlapping pieces etc.Could be a problem for some :P

Small gaps between each piece of wood, where it meets another,Mainly on the centre part,as there's nothing to pull it up.This could be due to the pre drilled holes for the dowel pins being off.

And the biggest problem,The stupid glass wouldn't fit LOOOOOOL...

Seems to have a stronger overall construction then most other vivs, and a very good price :)
But unsure if i'd buy another.

Nicely set up. We just use the cheap and cheerful viv exotic.

i just put a load of extra screw's all the way round it job done

it's easy to add more screws etc,I added more screws, had to glue and clamp pieces into place. To pull the centre part up,so the glass would fit etc etc.You shouldn't have to do all that :)

Yep :) I had to take the roof of,glue and add extra screws to get the glass to fit in :P It's not that great,if you just want to easy life :) you should just beable to follow the instructions, and not get any problems at all.

that's the thread you started to show me the viv :P It just seems off in alot of places. There's a screw on the bottom :P But not one in the top.I'd have thought it should be the other way around.

Yeah or move the dowels up abit,so its not sagging down as such hehe.Mind was off everywhere it made the glass not fit by like 1 cm :P
