Does anyone else find they always want to buy a snake as young as possible so they can raise it themselves, but after a month of finding them cute and small they just can't wait for them to be fully grown?
My boa is growing rapidly, but it's still just little. Can't wait to have a nice big snake!!

Totally agree with this! My male and female royals seem to have barely grown especially the male but he spends most of his time on a fast and my boa doesnt seem to wanna grow either... Hes being tried on a new size this weekend though.

That's part of the fun and whatever,To raise it from a baby etc.
Plus you safe guard yourself some what, from inheriting problems from old owners etc.

I got my royal young and it's pretty much fully grown now, but I remember feeling the same with that. After having it a few months I just wanted it to be bigger lol

I imagine that's even worse when you want to breed them!

Am waiting impatiently for our royals to reach breeding weight.
