A bamboo morph is better.

I'm confused, are you wanting to put bits of bamboo wood in, or an actual live plant?

Some bamboo has fine and irritating hairs are their base so if it's a live plant you're wanting I would avoid any that have this. (Don't ask me which ones I've not got a clue)

Dont see why not. Give it a good clean with about 10% bleach, then a thorough rinse with water. Just to make sure theres nothing living in it.
