Just spent the last hour pulling my rep room to bits in search of an escapee :-(
Don't worry i found her thoug.... twice lol
changing all the waters and cleaning when needed tonight so left my new arrivals until last and the very last one to do proved to be a pain lol
my milksnake jubbly takes a bit more preparation to clean out as she likes to musk/poo when i get her out so i do her on the floor with kitchen roll surrounding her tub so its easier to clean as it gets everywhere and i have another tub beside to put her in while i clean hers out but tonight things didn't go to plan :-(
I set up as usual so went to get her out but she darted out past my hands and under my knees, she looked quite comfy there so left her to it while i cleaned only for her to dart back out between my feet when i went to grab her again and by the time id turned around she was nowhere to be seen(she's a fast little bugger) at first i thought maybe she'd went up my trousers so stripped off and no joy there so had a quick scout around where i thought she'd have headed but no luck there either, so everything on the floor had to be picked up and checked still couldn't see her and at this point i was panicking as there's holes in my floor where radiators go down. so now i thought she'd either gone down the holes or had managed to squeeze under cookies viv so bless the poor beardie had to be disturbed from her sleep as i pulled all her rocks out so i could lift her viv and nope still not there either. i thought that was it at this point as the only place i thought she could have getting to in that time was the holes in the floor so i started putting cookies viv back together and i heard a ruffling noise coming from behind my T's viv/cabinet at far side of room i didn't think for one minute she was that fast to have made it that far to be over there but lo and behold the little bugger was slithering amongst the wires lol i managed to grab her and put her in the tub while i moved the viv back in place only to turn around and the bugger had escaped the tub this time but luckily she didn't go far and hid next to it under one of cookies rocks phew now she's safely back in her tub and cookies home is back to normal and im sweating like a pig lol
my lesson is well and truly learnt :-) |

something ive learnt is - Milk snake = jack in the box
I bet you were sweating, that reptile room is like a sauna with all those heaters!!! |
