Posted - 13/11/2013 : 11:58:26 Just got that new ceramic bulb holder (see previous post) spent ages taking viv apart and fitting it and as soon as I plugged it in I heard a popping noise!! The bulb has blown. Just bought this bulb in August so I think it's the new fitting, don't know what to do, gonna have to buy a new bulb but probably a new fitting too. |

Posted - 14/11/2013 : 11:13:42 Yeah I did do. Not sure what happened with that holder but there were small burn marks inside the holder and on the screw part of the bulb |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 19:12:13 Yeah I've had a ceramic bulb do that before, no idea why it did it. All I can suggest is new bulb and new bulb holder. Take the new bulb back? Might be able to exchange it? |

Posted - 13/11/2013 : 18:46:23 Stat fused, I changed that so it's lighting up now. But bulbs have blown. They make that rattling noise now |
