well willow finally ate her rat I left it in her home over night and it was gone for morning woo hoo. So it would appear she likes time and privacy to eat

I wish 2 of mine would eat. Boris and Ria haven't eaten since October. Ive tried different ways of defrosting/heating etc, tried smaller rats and last week I completely gutted their vivs and washed/replaced everything trying to make them feel they were in a new burrow. Still nothing. At least Sas is eating. I even tried putting them in together so they could have a little snake porn on the advice of local shop. She wasn't having any of it and shot up the back of her viv and hung in the wires!

In the shop I got her from they always feed out of the viv so I tried it that way but I guess she's happier in her home and that's fine with me as long as she eats :-)

I put it near her hide and let it and she took it on her own when she was ready

Congratulations. Did you just drop it in or did you leave it in a particular place on purpose?
