Do you have to leave the water out or do you put it in the fridge. I didnt know about leaving it to stand for 48 hours.

It gets rid of the chlorine in the tap water - which can apparrently not really harm snakes, but may shorten their lifespans.

What's the advantage in letting it stand? I've just been using tap water.

Tap stood for 48 hours. I refill the water bowls every other day, so fill up a couple of very large jugs when I do so that they're ready for next time.
