Some of you may have read about this on the dark side or even on Captive Bred forums,
I am posting this here to help raise funds for Steve to get a wheelchair, this is really sad and tugged my heart strings..i hope it is ok to post this-)
there is an auction section currently running on CB forums...you can help if you wish by bidding on stuff...including royals and other things, which members have kindly donated..
ALL monies raised will go straight into Steves fund

This was taken from Steve's profile page. this fund raising was not suggested or asked for by Steve (as I'm sure he's far too proud) but was suggested by another member who know's Steve and how difficult his situation is.
"After keeping reptiles for many years I've sadly had to sell and give away my entire collection of snakes, lizards and tarantulas.
On the 15th September I had a very bad fall. I've broke 3 vertebrae in my spine which has been fixed using a titanium rod, shattered both of my heels which can't be fixed, broke my left tib and fib resulting in the bones breaking in many places and the bone protruding through my leg and I badly broke my right ankle which had to be rebuilt using a metal plate.(3 operations in all) I was heavily sedated in intensive care for 6 days and spent 5 weeks in hospital. I can finally reach my pc in my wheel chair and catch up with what's been going on. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to keep reptiles again due to my new disabilities. (At least I get a blue badge for the car )"
