Had Bliss out to spot clean and was letting her have a wander on the window sill...
She was quite happily looking out the window, was quite cute actually...
Bet you cant guess what happened next?
NO.....She never fell out of the window...i am not so daft as to put her on there with a window open..
I had my feeding tongs on the window sill and she somehow managed to slide her head through the handles..and they got stuck on her..
Bliss was writhing and would not let me try and get them off, they were firmly wedged and i had visions of her dying cos it would not come off..Dont think she helped by puffing herself up either..
Good job my sons were here and my neighbour..
tongs were stuck fast, i have nothing to get them off with, sent sons next door for cooking oil..oiled hands, tongs came off first time...
Gave me a heart attack...so glad she is ok, but she has dents and i am hoping they come out..
Another lesson learnt, dont think it is safe with a big royal cos it isnt...
I feel such a bad mummy now...

think she must have a thing for them cos feed before last she struck and constricted so hard i could not get the tongs off her..lol..

I was sitting here earlier trying to remember how in less than a minute i nearly killed my snake..i remember picking the tongs up and she lunged forward towards the window...
it was kind of one of those freak accident things that could have been a lot worse than it was..it was not the handle she went through but the bit on the end that you pick the food up with..they were barbecue tongs..lol..

Lol..Karl the panic did not hit till i could not release her and she kept going limp on me..thats when i kind of panicked..
made it harder cos of her size..
She struck at me when i put her back in her viv...lol,
probably getting her own back...bless her...
