Sounds like urates to me, I've seen a few grey ones and they can be quite hard. They're probably grey because of where they've been!

They were grey literally like pebbles i could hardly cut through them at one point i thought they were pebbles! Inside they were white/yellowish kinda like bone.

What colour were the lumps? If they were white or yellowish they were probably urates, which is solid wee and perfectly normal.

Mine wen't yest after about a month, he must have had at least 4 rats in there, and he had solid lumps in his poo that looked like pebbles, not worried but any idea wot they were?
matty198111 Posted - 03/09/2009 : 22:37:08

Unless they have a visible lump by their vent they're fine. Every 6 weeks or so is quite normal, it will also depend how much they're eating.
