Anyone else read them? I was so skeptical as I have never read a romance(ish) book, and thought it was just for the 16yr old girls......

I have to admit, I started reading book one (Twilight) and within 5 days had read all 4! They really are some of the most enthralling and addictive books I have ever read.

I kinda did the tech route I have to admit though, I had the real books, the ebooks and the audio books, so could basically read/listen through the whole day (ebooks and audio on iPhone)

Forget that it's about Vampires (which it kinda is and isn't) and read them, genuinely suprised how much I like them.

Now read them twice..

I know what people mean about "not written well" but that's kinda the thing that irks me so much, how can something written sooo badly managed to entertain me so much?

oh, and "Let the right one in" will be googled once this is written.......

How disapointed were you by the ending too?

How unresolved is that thing with the Italians? She says that's the last book, but I can see sequel coming soon.

i love the books but was a bit disappointed that bella didnt get mauled to death or something lol.. cant wait for the rest of the films to be done..

I agree with Karl really- I read them all within about 3 weeks, but I still wouldn't say they were 'good' books.

It's like Mills and Boon - really badly written, but a thrilling read never the less

Plus Bella and Edward really started to annoy me big time! I only continued reading to find out what happened to Jacob and in the hope that Bella would die a grizzly death (like she'd been promising thorugh out the entire series of books), but I was unfortunately disappointed

Have you read "Let the right one in?" I've given it to everyone who has said they enjoyed twilight and its fab! Highly recommended.

Kaz has read em...jury's still out as to whether i will...i didnt really enjoy the film, i thought the casting was awful, however the new one that's coming out looks marginally better. also i fear if i read them i will be constantly comparing them to other (probably better) vampire/werewolf novels, of which there are quite a few.... but i will get around to reading them at some point i daresay
