Having noticed Strawbs had done a rather large poop in her viv, I set about cleaning her out when i noticed a little something poking out of Velvet's hide - i didn't want to fuss her too much as she had only eaten the night before so I pulled out this little thing which looked a bit like poo wrapped in skin.. Anyway, after slowly unravelling it - turns out it was her first shed :D [with me]
It was rolled up in a little bunch, so cute! Darren assured me royals tend to shed this way, but the thing that confused me, was although her tummy was pink for a little while, i didn't notice her eyes going blue or her colour looking dull! Was a nice little surprise :)
Will be getting her out later to examine her as i couldnt seem to find the head/eye shed. [although by unravelling it i could possibly have torn it]

congrats on the first shed
i noticed q's eyes darken and his shine completely disappeared before he shed |

i dont notice montys eye dull either,he just goes very dull skinned |
