When i got charlie he was on mice,been trying to get him on rats so started with one rat fuzz he took that, he shed his skin last night so I decided to try a small rat tonight and was surprised He TOOK it wow yes looks like hes converted to rats fingers crossed now, yippie  How long would you leave it till next feed he is approx 2 and half years now and weighs 866g. |

when defrost in hot water only from the hot water tap NOT from a boiled kettle |

If that fails you could give him mice and just when hes about to finish follow with a rat appropiate size so he/she takes that aswell.dont know if that process would stress them though, (im new and learning myself) |

LOL korey,well i asked that question to members, and they told me.what i did was i got a rat fuzz and a mice defrosted them in hot water from the tap together 4 about 20 mins by that time the water is cool so empted the water i put more hot water in just for a few seconds so there nice and warm pat them dry with kitchen towel then i rub the mouse all over the rat fuzz so smells like a mice and he took it i was surprised myself.I then decided to repeat the same process with a small rat and he took that as well to my surprise.Hope that helps and good luck |

A general guide I use is:
0-400g - every 5 days
400-800g - every 7 days
800-1200g - every 10 days
1200g+ - every 14 days
Obviously not set in stone but it gives you something to work with  |

9-11 days (from my experience, Not a guideline)
Stick to rats now. What ever you do don't give in and go bak to Mie as its constant pain to cross back again |
