I'm only 29! They're at work, I've got picture evidence from the late seventies of them, can never look at the pics seriouly though, too busy laughing at the boss when he still had hair! I'm going for the Darwin theory, they had to be bullet proof to survive in the conditions they were kept in when they were younger (I've got some care guides and text books from the 60s and 70s at work and it's scary how little was known and how basic technology was) so they are naturally hard snakes. Both are in the middle of a course of antibiotics at the moment, they seem to be quite susceptible to RIs, but the vet is impressed with the rest of their general health.
