Posted - 03/01/2011 : 19:35:52 Aww, thanks GMac!
Yeah, the hierarchy thing seems customary on all forums ... personally I think it could be fairer just to give a member's post count, say on their profile?
Perhaps we could have a vote on this?
But yes, when I first came on here, I was scared to post ... things have changed somewhat lol!
Great forum! |

Pretty much what I mean by the egg, mite etc I just dont like it. I think all points of view are equally impotant not just because you have 5 million posts or 1 post they are all relevant. So when I read replies it makes little or no odds who's posted it.

Irrelevant on how often you post or how long you have kept these beasts BATS you give good information and if you are not sure you tell them, you also have experience of these snakes as well so your info is just as important.
And this is why I like this forum / community it is not tiered or cliquey like some others

personally I dont like the sub titles so don't pay any attention to them, they are misleading insofar as a new member may have 20 years experience and on the other hand you have new members having no experience.
But I do like it here

Posted - 03/01/2011 : 14:57:27 I think this is a great site - the only one I've ever been on where people are always friendly and never make fun of a snake mite ;-) |

Posted - 02/01/2011 : 01:35:55 Kinda got to agree with yous too. Been on RFUK for a wee while, and apart from my fav thread "Monitors and Tegus" -great bunch of guys, I don't tend to participate.
But can I just say, you lot are so so friendly and nice. And I have no fear of sharing with you guys if I mess up on something, cos im pretty sure yous would do your best to help rather than wave the finger and roll your eyes.

Posted - 31/12/2010 : 01:47:39 yeah gotta say i agree! this place is really friendly and even when you balls something up ( like me saying Royals live in the rainforest earlier lol) its never ripped apart and ridiculed! BEST FORUMS EVER! |

Posted - 30/12/2010 : 22:40:48 I have to admit to having used RFUK for a long time, only now for the classifieds, there is information on there if you have the patience to wade through all the rubbish and arses. Or just stay here where its about the animals rather than the showing off and one-up-manship. |

Posted - 30/12/2010 : 22:17:02 Thanks blackskull. I aslo had a few posts on RFUK, and been slagged off. But here feels like home. Happy new year to you too, and to the rest of The Royal Python family. |

Posted - 30/12/2010 : 20:22:51 LOL - we are, we are! And thanks!
Yeah, I wouldn't stay on any forum that wasn't friendly. Can't do with the grief. I like this forum - I like to think we're like our snakes, calm, placid and quietly sociable lol.
Happy new year to you too! |
