Posted - 17/01/2011 : 14:23:24 Well every time I seem to look into my 2009 female Royals RUB, she seems to be upside down running along the top of the RUB. Been trying to get some pictures, but it's hard to because it's frosted style RUB and obviously can't lift the lid because she's against it. Anyone else experienced this? And is it safe for them? (bit of a stupid question) |

I can't video it... Well I could, but the RUB is like not frosted, but not completely clear, if that makes sense, so you can't see her on the video, but I can see her with my own eyes lol. Her temps are fine, although I would ideally like to get her into a proper vivarium soon. It's just affording it.
A RUB is a proper vivarium. |

True story: One cleaning day, we opened the viv, we took the waterbowl out, we walked to the sink 20 feet away to rinse out the bowl, we came back and spot clean, walked outside to the garbage dump, came back and everybody are still inside their vivs.
So, we don't seem to have escape artists anymore. When we first got them, they would run up the side of the glass as far up as they can go then plop back down when they can't support themselves anymore.
I would love to see a royal hanging up side down on the RUB though! That would be hilarious to watch!
It would be cool to see a video.
Just to be safe, check the temperature on your RUB floor. It could be that it is too hot that's why he is hanging up there on the top. But then, maybe he just loves it out there. There's more air around that lid. |

Posted - 17/01/2011 : 14:55:05 If I understand correctly, It looks like your Royal wants to slither upside down on the lid of the RUB? (Gees if my sentence makes any sense) My Pinstrip does it too. |
