Posted - 03/02/2011 : 23:43:14 There's a guy on rfuk already doing a shipment from bhb who's creating quite a stir as brian from bhb is selling and he's importing certain defective animals. I'll let you do your own research and come to your own conclusions. But yes contact the seller if you already know where you want to get them from. All questions answered. |

Posted - 03/02/2011 : 22:25:39 Thanks for the reply I'm asking because I'm considering putting a group together to make a combined import from BHB for two reasons. 1 To introduce new blood lines and 2 because if I'm honest because breeders over here don't produce the same amount as the states and because of the exchange rates you can purchase the same snakes for a fraction of what they cost over here, and I'm fed up of paying over the odds for things just because they are not produced over here in the same quantity or because in some cases people care more about the money than they do the animals. |

Posted - 03/02/2011 : 21:39:12 DEFRA and HMRC are your best places to find out. DEFRA deal more with the welfare side, HMRC the money side.
But why bother, there is no shortage of pythons in the UK and breeders import when they look to introduce new blood into their lines. For someone keeping as a pet its pointless and I'm sure quite expensive and the stress of moving snakes long distances can kill them before they even arrive. |
