Posted - 07/02/2011 : 18:28:20 Hi guys I've got a chance at a couple of so called 100% hets one for clown and one for pied only problem is neither one comes with paperwork to prove there genetics but they are asking (100% het prices), and I have to say even with the lack of paperwork I have to say I am sorley tempted after seeing pic's of them they are both lovely animals in there own right, but for the sake of any possible future breedings price wise they are a big gamble. So just wondering if any of you lovely people had some suggestions? |

Posted - 07/02/2011 : 20:41:13 They are both males and are about twice the average price of normals don't think i'd be able to see the parents not in person anyway, and like you say paperwork or indeed pic's are easy to lie with so I might just take the plunge and hope they prove out come breeding time lol many thanks guys |

Posted - 07/02/2011 : 18:40:07 paper work is not always everything, as it is easy to just type something up on word is it a reputable breeder your buying from, thats the question. and could you see the parents? how much are you paying and what are the sexes |

Posted - 07/02/2011 : 18:37:33 Paperwork is only worth the paper its written on, there is no such thing as official documentation and anyone could make some up. So it really just depends on whether you trust them. You could ask to see the parents, for them to be 100% het, then one of the parents must be a visual Clown and Pied respectively. |
