Posted - 11/02/2011 : 20:06:06 Setting up a rub tomorrow ready for my pastel royal and just wanted to know do I put the thermostat probe directly on top of the heat mat then the rub on top of that or in the rub itself?? Also do people have any trouble keeping the heat high enough for them in a rub, mine will be positioned on top of a viv.
Thanks |

Posted - 11/02/2011 : 22:47:58 Make sure the rub goes on the cool side of the viv otherwise it may get too hot from the constant heat of the bulb. I gaffa tape the thermostat probe to the RUB then place the rub directly on heat mat and probe. The probe fits nicely in the octagon recess's on the bottom. i then put the thermometer probe in the rub by the hot hide at substrate level. |
