Dio's definately going into shed this time as his eyes are starting to go blue

Still dealing with the mite problem but atleast by the time they've gone he'll be all shiny again. And hopefully he'll leave a nice big pile of poo for the OH to deal with as punishment for lying to me about checking for mites .

It's a bit late to salvage the skin as he put the rubbish out today. There's always the next time.

Bob - Shame it wasn't literally 'on the OH'

Go Dio with a good intact shed, and super welll done that he parked a megadump for your OH. A rolled shed is a good sign its complete. If you want to keep it you can wet it and you should be able to unravel it carefully. Once it dries out though it becomes very fragile and if its in the bin it will probably end up as dust.

Congrats Dio! (and on the dunghill as well lol.)

It doesn't matter if the shed's in a ball - just mist it and it will unroll with a bit of coaxing. If you can possibly salvage it, you may still be able to resurrect it.

Dio finally shed last night and left a big pile of poop for the OH to clean up before work this morning he was quite shocked with the amount. Unfortunately the skin ended up in a ball so the OH threw it away. Hopefully the next one will be better and i can keep it.

Dio's had his mite treatment and his whole viv completely cleaned out and treated too. He seemed to enjoy him swim in the sink alot and he wasn't grumpy about being handled while in in shed, though he was a bit more jumpy than normal. Unfortunately he hasn't left a steaming pile yet but hopefully soon.

Bob that is incredibly tempting lol.

If you really want him punished, feed Dio a chick, it makes poo stinky.

Thats good as the more poop he has to clean out the better. I'll be able to get a nice empty weight of him if my scales arrive in time.

haha yeah and they are whoppers when they shed, Duke lost over 100grams in 1 poop.

You';ll probably have a few quite close sheds while the mites and the mite damage is repaired.
