Posted - 06/05/2011 : 14:06:05 Ok I know this has been mentioned in many many other threads but if I'm honest and I always am I can't be bothered searching for it lol, anyway to my point if I were to put a face cloth in for extra humidity(cerberus is going to shed any time soon) do I put it in the hot or cool end and how damp should it be? also would wetting it once a day be enough. Thanks in advance peeps..... |

Yeah, they are terrible for losing their specs - they hide them or lose them in the substrate ... absent minded little gits, eh? |

Posted - 07/05/2011 : 12:27:31 Hi guys update on the shedding, well he's done it and although I couldn't see his face and eye caps, I've checked him and there doesn't seem to be any retained shed or eye caps so everything is as they say hunkie dorie lol..... |

Posted - 06/05/2011 : 18:13:39 No BE no problems at the moment but it will only be his second shed with me and he'd just shed when I went to get him but had some retained shed then and after his first shed I noticed the odd scale that looked like he hadn't shed them so I just wanted to keep on top of things should he have any troubles cheers guys |

Posted - 06/05/2011 : 17:55:23 I`ve got one thats needs a little help, i just make the flannel soaking wet and chuck it in the warm end (she is in a rub), it doesn`t really matter how wet it is but if you have to use one you dont want it drying out in an hour or 2. |

If not, just leave well alone in my opinion. |

Posted - 06/05/2011 : 14:17:06 i put my flannel on top of the hide under the ceramic builb. i soak it under the tap then wring it out so its damp but no water runs out. i do it once a day but check it a couple of times during the day to make sure its not dry. this seems to work for me |
