Ok I know this has been mentioned in many many other threads but if I'm honest and I always am I can't be bothered searching for it lol, anyway to my point if I were to put a face cloth in for extra humidity(cerberus is going to shed any time soon) do I put it in the hot or cool end and how damp should it be? also would wetting it once a day be enough. Thanks in advance peeps.....

That's great, congrats!

Yeah, they are terrible for losing their specs - they hide them or lose them in the substrate ... absent minded little gits, eh?

Hi guys update on the shedding, well he's done it and although I couldn't see his face and eye caps, I've checked him and there doesn't seem to be any retained shed or eye caps so everything is as they say hunkie dorie lol.....

No BE no problems at the moment but it will only be his second shed with me and he'd just shed when I went to get him but had some retained shed then and after his first shed I noticed the odd scale that looked like he hadn't shed them so I just wanted to keep on top of things should he have any troubles cheers guys

I`ve got one thats needs a little help, i just make the flannel soaking wet and chuck it in the warm end (she is in a rub), it doesn`t really matter how wet it is but if you have to use one you dont want it drying out in an hour or 2.

To the OP, is your snake sturggling to shed?

If not, just leave well alone in my opinion.

i put my flannel on top of the hide under the ceramic builb. i soak it under the tap then wring it out so its damp but no water runs out. i do it once a day but check it a couple of times during the day to make sure its not dry. this seems to work for me
