Hi guys isn't it strange how just when you think you've seen it all something else sneaks up and bites you on the bum lol

I was talking to a friend a couple of years ago about getting a bearded dragon, and he mentioned that in one of his fishing mags he'd seen an article for a new reptile mag called practical reptile keeping and it just so happend the first issue had a story about keeping beardis in it, so I bought it and the rest as they say was history, anyway I was reading this months issue, and their it was the afor mentioned bum biter lol, an article all about a snake that only eats snails yes thats right SNAILS!!! Now I thought the snake that only eats insects was strange but this has to top it.

Just thought I'd share

Yeah, and they're asking if some snails have evolved a left-handed spiral to avoid getting eaten!

It's all very strange out there.

Yeah, I know of these, you get some really pretty looking ones. There's even one that looks purple!

But did you know that they can only eat snails with a right-hand side spiral to their shell? ; )

This link explains it clearly:

It's really to late for them there jokes BATS lol, It's not a bad mag bob youv'e missed the best bits though they've been doing various articles about royals for the past few months, some really nice combos this season.

But this snake that eats snails actually looks like it's got a beak but then again I suppose It'd need one though to get through a sanils shell lol.

How odd, I have just ordered my first ever issue of this magazine earlier today, figured I'd check it out, if I like I'll subscribe.

Well, I know slow-worms (yeah legless lizards really) will eat slugs ...

come to think of it, you'd have to be legless to eat a slug, well, wouldn't you lol!

I once heard about this guy who turned up at a fancy dress party, carrying a woman on his back. When everyone asked what he'd come as, he said, 'A snail.'

'A snail?'

He pointed to the woman. 'This is Michelle ...'

sorry, late at night ...
