All the animals I've kept over the years all semmed to have at least one quality that I thought was really great and one that was really "bad" lol so thought I'd ask you guys what your thoughts might be if you had to pick the best habit and the worst habit your snakes have (just a bit of fun and doesn't have to be a royal).

For me it has to be when Cerberus takes a dump it's great that he does it in a corner (usually the same one) but the worst bit is that he hides away in a corner to take a dump lol

The snakes:
the good bits? they are cool little dudes and duddettes, eat well and allow my 4 yr old to handle them
the bat bits? Stig keeps crapping half way up the viv and smearing it everywhere. The King Rat doesn't EVER show it's face, makes a royal look active

The dogs:
The good bits? They are my sanity on bad days, and cause me to leave the house and enjoy the world, everyday
the bad bits? Dogs cost a fortune, destroy my cars, drop hair all over, annoy the neighbours, etc etc etc

Wouldn't change them

Spot: Best - Likes to show off when shedding, eating and loves to explore or come out when I open the door. Worse - Poops about 3 times a week.

Duke: Best - Making steady progress with such a shy snake and finding a balance with him that works for both of us. Worse - Spooks really easy and strikes out at faces.

Sanke: Best - A very inquisitive little Boa and a prolific feeder. Worse - Eats mice sideways and is VERY aggressive around food (which is also a best too).

Snakes in general: Best - Great animals and great community of people who keep them (even you lot, lol). Worse - Fools quoting ridiculous facts about snakes thinking that for some reason I know nothing about the animals I keep.

Blimey, Pandora must have slipped them out fast!

Hey Kelf, did you actually SEE Pandora give birth??
Kelfezond Posted - 12/06/2011 : 16:47:41
Best;
Pandora randomly exploding babies everywhere.
Diablo eating with a little help from an assistfeed
Finding anubis after he excaped.

Worse
Diablo poopin' on the floor as he was climbing back into his rub
Vallhalla striking at my girlfriend on the first day I managed to persuade her to let me have a snake.

Ah yes, worst moments definitely on the dump front ... corns especially. Up on the the climbing branch, lift the tail ...let fly everywhere, all down the silk plants ...ooo, Lil, look what I did!

Nowadays they have plastic plants ... ought to be plastic PANTS!

But the best ... it's when a non-feeder decides to feed and you see that bulge going down into that empty little belly.

Bringing a new snake (a snake you've always wanted, which goes for every snake you own) home ...

When a very shy snake comes and gives you that meaningful look - 'Armchair walkies, Lil?'

When a snake with the reputation of an 'attitude problem' lets you pick her up without protest. Seems to like it, in fact.

When a snake WITH an attitude problem carries on alarming but still lets you pick her up without getting bitten (though she might bite next time lol.)

Oh ...I could go on ... when you chill out with a confiding snake cuddled warmly round your neck and snoozing with its nose down your sleeve ...

Never mind the worst (unless the snake decides to GO in your sleeve ...)

Snakes are heaven!
