My name is Aldo but everyone calls me Number 33

Steve says that I am for sale because he doesn't love me anymore, he says I keep biting him and his fingers are sore!

I need lots of love and attention and I prooomise I'll stop biting soon! Please buy me and take me away from the mean bearded (Yet absolutely handsome, gorgeous god of a) man!

Faithfully,
Aldo "Thirty Three"

P.S: I think I'm a boy!

Aw, dio im so sorry to hear that. My dog has just had an op to remove mamory tumours and its such a worry. Sorry they couldnt save Asti.

Bats....dont tempt me, im already looking around the house to see if i can get rid of something to make room for another boa! but sadly no!

Awww sorry to hear that about Asti, always sad at a time like this, just take comfort in the fact you can say for certain you gave her the very best of everything so she was one lucky little ASBO rat.
Dio Posted - 14/06/2011 : 22:17:19
Thanks BATS. It just seems a bit harder to deal with as she was still running around on friday trying to take my fingers off.

I like to think she had a nice life with us especially as she (and her old playmate) were rescue ones. I keep saying no more rats but i bet i wouldn't be able to resist if i found more needing a home. The chunks out of the sofa cover and TV controls will definately help us remember her.

Oh, very very sorry to hear ...poor Asti, but sounds like you gave her a lovely life, and I think we'll all remember her on this forum, she was clearly such a personality. RIP Asti love and hugs xxx

Hi, Dio - how have things been with Asti - or is that a tactless question ...?

We had her put down at 6pm yesterday. Just before we took her we found another mammary tumour which made it a bit earier to make the decision. The vet even said it was probably a tumour in her brain that caused her to have the stoke. As the vet was taking her away she was just sat in the box having one final wash, i think that almost finished me off lucky there was a supply of tissues. Even the vet was saying what a lovely rat she was despite her ASBO behaviour.

A whole bottle of asti was consumed yesterday in her honour.

Ha - Sandi - do I detect a sudden rush of affection for Aldo the Awful? If it can't be me, would be great if it was you! (and you live in the area too, right? It's Meant!) ps hope your Dad is better.

GMac Posted - 14/06/2011 : 12:29:29
cant believe ive just read a messsage from an asboa boa, and a reply to it did make me genuine lol.

although I think Kelf should send me the second message to determine if its suitable lol.

How immature lol! He really is doing his best to make himself irresistible! Tell him I adore him, but unless I hired myself a snakey 'minder' to sit in while I handled him, he would have to live a lonely life with no armchair walkies, and I couldn't deprive any snake of armchair walkies.

Such a shame. Tell the little guy I'm really sorry.

Dear Aldo 33,

If it was possible for me to own a bci I would definitely have you. You're the handsomest little asbo-boa I've ever seen, and I'm sure you'll stop biting soon. It's just typical baby-snake feistiness and makes life more interesting for the new owner, sore fingers and all. Your colouration's gorgeous - to me you look like the pick of the litter - and oh boa there are a lot to pick from!

Trouble is, I live alone and even if I were big and strong (which I'm not) for safety's sake I would need someone on standby when I handled a full-grown boa.

Aldo, I'm heartbroken, and very very jealous of the person who buys you, as I'm sure someone will, after seeing that pic and realising what a little character you are. (Very soon to be a big hefty character lol.)

I would have loved to take you on, and am crossing my fingers that you (and all your brothers and sisters, all little beauties) find good homes soon. Give my regards to Steve and Victoria (and stop biting them!)

Lots of love from Lil
