Posted - 16/06/2011 : 22:30:27 I could smell a niff coming from Duke's viv so went to investigate. I lifted his hide and he was laying rather crumpled up and tilted on his side at one point, his poor eyes are pure white, as is his skin, his eyes have sunk in. He didn't move not even a twitch, I touched him and he still didn't move, he wasn't even breathing.
Oh crud, is he dead, I went to pick him up and still didn't move, I lifted him and he hissed so loud I jumped out of my skin. He scared me half to death firstly thinking he'd croaked it and then when he shouted at me.
Oh and then Alfie my coy looking dog trumped and the niff came back, sorry Duke it was the giant ginger squirrel making smells in the corner. |

Posted - 17/06/2011 : 12:40:24 Yep he is clearing up again now guess that was just his peak of blueness last night. He's actually shuffling round in his hide as I type this.
Bats, Duke wouldn't have had to plan that with Alfie, he need only spend 5 minutes in the same room as Alfie to know he is a regularly windy dog. |

Posted - 16/06/2011 : 23:13:19 I think he was just do totally blind that he just chose to freeze rather than react to me. He was totally fine, I had him picked up and he wandered round while I checked the viv. I think I saw him laughing. |

Posted - 16/06/2011 : 22:49:52 OMG! I've NEVER seen or heard of a snake go like that during shed - no wonder you were alarmed, well, frantic - I would have been too!
Oh and rude Alfie! (That's the trouble with animals, no decorum eh?)
Good luck with the shed, Duke, and don't give poor Bob any more nasty shocks!
