Hey all just thought id share this as im pretty sure this guy is a scammer as when i was trying to hunt down an juvenile albino royal (witch i have now found collect monday) i came across a guy called john micthell who is apparantly from yaverland the isle of wight who has a po box address and a mobile witch for some reasson is always ingaged and he is alot cheaper than anywere else buy nearly half the price and i tried to arrange to meet him at the ferrie port on the isle of wight witch he said he could but kept asking me to send him money for him to send of the papers to get them in my name witch the ammount for this kept changing nearly each email then he said he needs me to send money for the papers for the snake to be sent on the plane to me even tho i said loads of time i want to come collect but he still just kept asking for money to be sent to him first but i kept clearly sayin i will not send money first as im a bit weary of doing this anyway then he never emailed for a while the the other i day i get another email of him and as if he was replying to like one of my first emails to him he was like " hello mr james i see you are a great lover of the albino and i know you will lokk after her but mr james i need you to send me some money first for the papers to be sent of " and so on so i personally think hes a complete scammer and for everyone to be were if they come acroos him while searching for a new royal or others

hey all yer i thought there was something not quite right about him pretty much straight and yer like you say you should never buy anythink with out looking at in in person so anyway i have kindly told him i wont be sending him any money :) |

Yes, I've seen stuff on other forums about this sort of approach, and what you describe follows the pattern of other people's experience. The way this guy writes reminds me of a recording that someone made of a phone call with one of these scammers. I'd choke him off pdq if I were you. They're pests.

Don't think you need paper along as it's in the eu
There loads of scammers out there i wouldnt buy a snake without holding looking first |

I didnt know we needed papers to import a reptile from the IOW ? some new border controls in place eh :)
