just been looking at the care sheet. just wondering if royals can live 30+ years how long does it take them to be fully grown? |

Yeah, me too. I was about to say that I considered a royal fully grown once it was breeding weight and age, which would be earlier for males than females (males 600-800g, females 1500-1800g and, for females, in their third winter.) But once breeding weight they still go on growing, and that of course varies from royal to royal. Interesting! |

i would say with correct feeding which very rarely happens due to royals going off their food it takes 3-4 years for a royal to get fully grown. females grow larger than males . it really does depend on how much you feed them and the size of food. try not to over feed though, this can be very harmful. i hope this helps |
