found my normal had left me a perfect shed this morning, mega happy with that. however, her colours seem to be changing pretty rapidly! the brown parts of her are going much paler in the middles and some of the gold/yellowy bits have gone very, very yellow! almost like the scales on my bee. theres about three of them at different parts on her body... any idea what the crack is with that?

That sounds so pretty - snakes' colours often do brighten/pale with age. Corn snake hatchlings are often quite unrecognisable a year on. I've heard warnings about certain royal morphs 'browning out' or not looking as attractive as they did as very young snakes but your girl sounds to be just improving with age.
