Posted - 30/11/2011 : 11:36:24 Oscar snaffled his large mouse Monday night but still he seemed more lethargic than normal. Anyway, yesterday all I could see was his back through the hide door and I thought he looked a bit dull. Yep! he's blue again. He's growing so well, my boy is.
So, I was wondering...as it's so difficult to get a length measurement of snakes, how accurate is the length of a shed? I'm assuming not much really as they stretch don't they? |

Posted - 30/11/2011 : 13:05:43 Good old Oscar!
Yeah, the skin can really stretch, though I think this varies from snake to snake; Ziska's don't seem to stretch as much as the corns and royals but her scales are much tougher and rougher feeling.
I found this below, including a snake length guide site that some members of this forum have had good results with -
