Hi I'm guess this has probably been covered many times but what are the basic signs of a snake about to shed?
Caris's skin looks kind of dull and seems to be spending more time under the lamp.

In Royals an early indication is a pink belly. Be shy and reclusive doesn't really mean anything in Royals, its what they do but the skin really dulls down before they go blue (the eyes and skin turn a grey/blue colour for several days, then everything goes back to normal but not as bright as normal and then a few days to a week or so later they shed. At the first sign raise humidity, specially at this time of year, lots of bad sheds happening.
