at least once a year sully likes to play this game. you don't see tail or scale of him for weeks and like every year i start to think the worst. i go through the same routine of pulling his logs out to get to his hide, lift his hide up to be greeted with him stretching his head up, gives me a look of disgust and buries his head in his coils.
after i checked he was ok i got him out to give him a check over. he didn't want to come out, nothing new there with him. also gave him a weigh, 2180g. then within seconds of me pointing his head towards his viv he was gone in a flash back into his hide |
