Posted - 05/01/2012 : 18:36:11 Loki is just getting more and more fussy about feeding. I used to just pop it in and he would come eat it all quietly. The last 2 feeds he has struck at it and then left it until I rewarmed it. This week he struck and missed then ignored it, I rewarmed it and he still ignored it until I dangled it and made the poor thing dance. Is this just him gaining in confidence or learning how to eat? What do you think? He sure is training me well lol X |

Posted - 05/01/2012 : 19:46:33 Ah. Shahi was born Apr/May '10 and began to miss meals from Nov '10 onwards before fasting properly in the new year of '11. So it's possible. Loki's becoming a man! |

Posted - 05/01/2012 : 18:58:28 Hi, they do change in eating habit sometimes - my Shiva's been a bit similar; he likes his rat shaken not stirred lol and eventually he'll eat like a wolf, but as an 09 boy he could well be coming up to the great fast, and am guessing he may be more finicky and needing to be tempted ...could that be the case with Loki? I can't remember offhand how old Loki is but my Shahi, who was born in spring 2010, fasted in his first winter, so it's possible Loki's working up to a fast even if he's a young lad? |
