Hi, Bob, you did and you didn't - at the weekend I arranged to pick up a new royal tomorrow - he's an adult and seems he's been rescued by his present owner from a home where he hadn't been treated very well, but he has been acting very aggressively and the family were a bit out of their depth. I've got a spare viv and as you know I'm always fancying snakes, but really I'd prefer to give home to a snake that might not be everyone's cup of tea, and I felt that I could cope with this boy.
However, yesterday his seller decided to keep him and persevere, which is good - he is obviously loved. I've said that I'm still here if the situation becomes impossible, but for the time being, he's staying put.
I shouldn't have tempted providence by talking about him before he came to me, but it's good that his seller cares about him and wants him to stay. |
