Posted - 24/02/2012 : 00:25:22 Hi guys its me once again I was in my local exotic pet shop today buying some rats and i was talking to a lady at the counter, I mentioned that i was after either a Spider or a pinstripe morph. I said that the i favored towards the pin because of the head wobble i have seen on spiders ( mostly on youtube ) But then she said that its quite a rare thing and not all spider royals do this? So is she talking complete #@!!% ? Haha |

Posted - 24/02/2012 : 16:00:18 its not only the spider gene that has the wobble, the woma gene which is very like the spider pattern also carries the head wobble. luckily this is not genetic like the spider head wobble, and is only displayed in some womas (not the NERD hidden gene woma though) |

Posted - 24/02/2012 : 13:55:42 I have always wondered if the spiders life expectancy is affected by the head wobble cause I know in other snakes stargazing is a sign of mbd. Does anyone know if it does affect them this way or not |

Posted - 24/02/2012 : 12:05:30 Not so good :(
Is it only spider royals that are affected ? |
Kelfezond |
Posted - 24/02/2012 : 11:43:14 It effects their balance and strike aim. Not an issue in captivity but dangerous in the wild. |

Posted - 24/02/2012 : 11:18:52 What does it do to the snakes except make their head wobble ? |
jbarlow91 |
Posted - 24/02/2012 : 06:56:42 All spiders and morphs made from spiders like bumblebees have head wobble, its worse in some snakes than others tho I think in most it only becomes visible at feeding time cause they get all exited and loose control lol, but then u get other where it is really severe |
