And one more thing if she deosnt eat can I save it form going to waste And feed it to my other royal it is small mouse and monty is on small weaner.

Its always best to see if you can get them onto rats sooner rather than later. You really dont need to worry about a few weeks off food though, just try again in a weeks time, try feeding at night when they are awake.

Well what I got from the local rat fuzzie was 8g and think small mouse I had was 13g

Ah, if she's been on rats, best keep her on rats then. A rat fuzzy is 19g approx; a rat pup 7g approx, a small mouse 9g approx - personally I'd try her on a rat pup next time; start as you mean to go on - good luck.

I fed her her a rat fuzzie last week and didn't feed so thought i would try a small mouse

Ah Bob we overlapped - but honestly a small 9g mouse snack for a rat eating royal isn't the end of the world imo.

Nothing unusual if they don't eat first time round - she'll be fine, just settling in.

It's good if you can recycle the rodent - but I personally wouldn't feed a royal on a mouse (although Monty could probably take a small mouse on top of his weaner ...) Hell, be a devil and give him his weaner and then see if he'll take the mouse to avoid wasting it - but don't do this too often lol or he might just hold out for mousey diet.

Hopefully Klara will feed next time and go on to rats asap - good luck.

she has just moved house, it stresses them and takes them a while to settle in. 2 feeds missed is nothing if it gets to 2 months then you can start to worry. I wouldn't bother giving a mouse to a Royal thats feeding on rats, its a very small risk that it prefers mice to rats and stops eating rats which when it gets larger will cause you bother.
