Has anyone had their Royals burrow in the substrate? One of my boys has been at it for about a week. He is totally normal other than the burrowing about. He is blue at the moment as well. Could that be the reason?

Loki does it all the time especially right after he has been cleaned out and the aspen is all lose and easy to burrow into.

They are a snake that naturally lives in burrows so its totally normal. You might want to review your hides though if its seeking alternative hiding places all the time but a bit of digging is nothing to worry about.

I have seen both of mine burrowing in their aspen at times. So I think the burrowing must be fairly normal lol
