BATS, Do you have any tips on taming? lol when i say he is feisty, im not exaggerating!
I haven't, I'm afraid, as Sulah's quite well behaved; I've been lucky. The only time I've ever had any aggro from her was when I moved her to her new viv. She hissed several times and headbutted me as I was untying her branch (they cling on to everything so I reckoned I'd remove her with the branch.) Then she nipped me, but only a nip, no blood. The following day she shed and christened her new viv, so that was obviously the reason for that. (I'm very bad at telling when she's in blue; somehow those chondro eyes just don't show the blue up.)
(Just a thought - did they tell you when your lad last shed, as that might be another reason for his grumpiness.)
Had her out last night as she was active, and she was great. (Sorry to boast; maybe she will get feistier as she grows and my time will come lol.)
Ziska my gopher is the one who takes the biscuit for feistiness, but we're used to each other; she knows she's going to get picked up and that is that. Usually she carries on alarming and then settles and goes to sleep in my top. But pits are all breath and britches - I understand carpets are a bit different.
Blackskull has a carpet who's feisty; he might be able to give you a few tips.
ps just seen his pics - he's gorgeous! Got to love these guys! |
