I remember the worse flight I ever took was a short hop across Egypt on a crappy prop plane, it started to shake from the second its engines were started, the turbulence flying over desert had it rocking and rolling all over the place, I dont get scared when flying, its the safest way from A to B but this just wasn't right, the confirmation that i was about to die was when it rolled onto its side and just dropped I looked out the window and only saw ground it was righted and then it lurched downward again, the stewardess screamed. It was a one hour flight but it felt like forever as I remember every single movement of that plane, even when the overhead lockers all burst open and showered us with luggage and this fire extinguisher rolling down the aisle. When it landed and I was still alive I have never felt relief like it, my then gf said she thought I was going to break the armrests off I was gripping them so hard, she has never seen anyone look so scared. lol.

Argh no way lol that really would be the last flight ever!

Two flights stick in my mind..one I started to stress when the doors were open, I stood up and said I was getting off. A hostess asked if I wanted to sit up front with the pilot which I rapidly declined, and the other was a return flight from Lison via Amsterdam. It was blowing a gale, the plane tipping almost on its side and all Katana did was chant "We are going to die, We are going to crash" and me sitting white knuckled and she found it funny.
I was usually flying alone for shoots and i'd always hold the arm of whoever sat beside me.
I hate flying.

Take off is fine, its take off attempts that are scary. My favourite flight ever was flying into Nice, we had an aborted landing just off the runway we got blown off course, a car sat on the side of the runway suddenly disappeared under us as we were blown completely off course and the pilot went to full throttle and pulled up very very quickly to miss crashing into the sea. If you think the power is incredible when they gradually accelerate up the runway on take off then the full power and pull up of an aborted landing will blow your mind, I left half my organs down on the ground as it shot up and I was completely squished into the back of my seat. It was incredible. Nobody screamed either just a choir of urghhhh noises as we all got squished. lol.

*grins* Rob, that clip just appeals to the sadist in me but I'd kill anybody that did that to me, tho I wouldn't be up there in the first place..i'm terrified of take-off even after over 150 flights lol

Blimey, that was a close shave, she pushes back as the other guy jumps what did she expect to happen, hold the momentum of the guy. Did you see that fat ripple though, wow it was like a lava lamp.
