I wondered if I could please ask you for your opinions?
I have been asked to make an offer on a Royal. The snake in question is an 1800g unproven Lesser Female.
How much would you say she is worth? I'm having real trouble finding a comparison!
I have a rough figure in mind but want to know how far off the mark I am before I make the offer!
Thanks in advance!

Posted - 22/06/2012 : 07:41:10 Thanks BigDon.. I'll bear that in mind for next season (I did wonder if it might not be too late this season but no sign of follicles)! That's 2 offers of males for stud to pair with her since last Saturday! Wow! LOL
That was one heck of a Bargain ReptileDanny!!!! :) |

Posted - 20/06/2012 : 08:39:28 It's whatever the seller thinks she's worth. Put it this way, if I had a lesser female at Taft weight, don't think I'd be selling unless there was something up I.e. not a great feeder. Saying that the guy I went to Doncaster with was picking up a 900g female lesser for £225 and it turned out she was female, was 890 odd grams and was a gorgeous lesser when we picked her up |

Posted - 17/06/2012 : 11:24:42 Just a little update...I got a 1700g Proven (not this season just gone but the one before)female Lesser!!! :)
I had a little win on the Lotto (£400! YAY!) so I got her and a 1600g Female Normal, both for £1250.
I'm a happy bunny! Now to save for a nice breeding weight male as I'm not sure my boys will be big enough next season.

I lucked out this time! Never mind, I tried! I knew she was worth more but if you don't ask you don't get!
I'll keep saving and looking! :) |

Posted - 10/06/2012 : 11:53:05 Thanks Guys! My Budget for an adult female morph is currently £800-900, I'll try, offer and see what happens? I realise she's worth more potentially but she is unproven and didn't go this last season!
Glad my guestimate wasn't too wildly off the mark! LOL |

Posted - 10/06/2012 : 11:05:07 £1000 plus think of the return I've got a lesser about 1200 grams an I wouldn't sell for less than £1000 She's worth alot more to me It all depends on how much you want to breed this coming November |

Posted - 10/06/2012 : 10:48:08 If it was from a reliable seller and I could trust it was a female I'd probably pay £700-£800ish but that is just me :) |
