I tried to post this on "The Reptilian" but a) it wouldn't let me, and b) there's not been anyone on there since march according to the site, So I thought I'd try my luck on here.

I've bought the Mrs a leo for her birthday, and would like to get another (she thinks it'll get lonely!!) problem is, you can't sex them until they're 6 months and 2 males together isn't good. So is there anyone on here who have more than one in a viv, and if so how did they get over this issue?

you're correct re: the vents, but apparent;y they don't show for some months, which puts a dampner on the mix whilst they're young theory. Thanks though guys.

If you can't tell from their vents or whats just in front of them lol males usually have a v shape of femeral pores near their vent sorry I can't remember if it's infront or behind....

Apparently if they are togrther from young then they will be fine but im not sure i would want to try

someone who knows alot about geckos can take a good educated guess at these sorts of things so it might be worth taking a pic of his/her bits and posting on a gecko forum somewhere

hi, just to warn you we have 3 females and they really don't like eachother. i had one for my birthday a few years ago, then my sister wanted one. we slowly introduced them to eachother but could hear them fight at night. my younger brother then also wanted one so we got a 3rd and none of them mix. they would actually pick eachother up and thrown themselves about - quite nasty!! luckily we split them up in time before any got hurt. we were advised against males together rightly so, but thinking we could have two or three females together in a nice big tank has also gone pear shape.with my royal we're up to 4 viv's around the house! in hindsight we should have got all 2 or 3 that already lived together from young, at once. not to be doom and gloom, my friend has 5 ladies who play together nicely in one very large tank so it can work. we just chose the wrong ones i think!! :) good luck!
