Posted - 01/07/2012 : 12:25:27 So, just a little over one month after my none feeder has taken her first mouse, she has now taken a rat. She almost ripped the tongs out of my hand aswell.
For two of the last three feeds I have hair dryered the rat and mouse scent into the viv, but only offered the mouse which I knew she has eaten before. Then the last feed I just blew the rat scent into the viv, but still offered the mouse, which was taken.
Then last night I blew the ratty scent in, and offered the rat. Then bamm, it was taken just like any mousey would be.
After roughly nine months (I think) of never eating alone, she has now not missed a feed. She's on a five day plan and shows interest after the third day.
Over the moon with this one. Thx for reading, Stewy :) |
